Anna Hendrina Elisabeth Sindorff was born in Rotterdam, the Netherlands (Europe) on 20 August 1907, deceased 6 February 1992, being the first child, of her father Franciscus Raimond Henricus SINDORFF (1880-1952) and her mother Anna Maria HAGEMEIJER (1879-1970). Siblings were her younger sisters Antoinette Caroline Maria Sindorff (1908-x), Maria Jacoba Francisca Sindorff (1910-1988) and her younger brothers Karel Hendrik Raimond Sindorff (1911-1985) and Frans Hendrik Jacob Sindorff (1916-x) enlisted at N.R.O.-National Register Deceased or I.T.S. the International Tracing Mission or Service.


The family lived during the time that the 1st World War, between 1914-1918, took place, even though the Netherlands was neutral, they may have experienced the effects, the 2nd World War between 1940-1945 did effect the family.

The family first growing up in Hoenderloo, a tranquille village in the centre of the Netherlands, the family moved to Rotterdam and Amsterdam for civil work.


Anna, named Annie, was an entrepreneur in fabric and produced ladies and children wear and very likely partner in Sindorff N.V. that used Prinsengracht 284 in Amsterdam as workshop as well in 23-08-1962. Unknown if they still hold P.C. Hoofdstraat 85hs in Amsterdam as store and Damrak 49 as workshop, it was a family business and Annie more focused on manufacturing then the trade. Anna lived on Waalstraat 57 in Amsterdam.

Her grandfather Karel Antoon Hubert Sindorff was a wealthy trademan and her father Fransiscus Raimond Henricus Sindorff, a trained O.C.R. priest from Zundert who became a building constructor must have inspired Annie to manufacture high end ladies ware for clients such as HB in Groningen and what was said Chanel in Paris.

This model is Marleen I.I. Spiering, daughter of Ingrid Bianca Sindorff and Annie is her great aunt. Dresses were found on the high end vintage webstores in 2022 and in family possession. ShopForYou owner Jenny Elsayed - van Veenen, neighbor bought the white dress at HB in Groningen around the 1960. The orange dress sold by Missrebeccaboon trading in high end vintage fashion, living in Ireland was able to deliver the dress through her mother in Purmerend, the Netherlands.
