Frans Peter Hubert Sindorff also François Pierre (sometimes met Antoine or Hubert) Sindorff was born in duchy Limburg, Venlo, the Netherlands (Europe) on June 12, 1843, deceased Brussel (not Venlo August 25, 1905), Belgium 23 july 1910, being the third child, of his father Willem Antoon Hubert SINDORFF (1811-1889) and his mother Maria Lucia SAX (1810-1866). Siblings were his older sister Angelina Maria Hubertina Sindorff (1840-1840) and older brother Karel Antoon Hubert Sindorff (1841-1896) and younger brothers Jan Caspar Hubert Sindorff (1845-1923), Peter Godfried Hubertus Sindorff (1847-1922), Michiel Cornelis Hubertus Sindorff (1849-1919) and younger sisters Catharina Maria Hubertina Sindorff (1850-1851) and Elisabeth Hubertina Maria Sindorff (1851-1933).

The family members lived during the time that the 1st World War, between 1914-1918, took place, even though the Netherlands was neutral, living so close to - and living in Belgium the family must have experience effects. The grandchild of Frans, the son of his son Frans and his wife Charlotte, George Jules Sindorff born Sint Jans Molenbeek (1897-1915), was killed at the age of 18 being a volunteer soldier, machine gunner, 11th line unit, 2nd machine gun company.

Both his brother Karel and Frans were driven, powerful, men. Frans was a popular witness on marriages in Brussels, October 15, 1879 of J.H.H Sax and a witness of a marriage in Brussels June 9, 1888 as a watch, shoemaker who lived on rue Haute 234 Brussels,

It looks like that Frans has changed the hour work of a clock, around 1900, that is from a time around 1730-1760 in so called Rococo style, from Meissen, most likely by inheritance of Michael Syndorff or Sindorff from Dormagen, who seems to have been married twice, with Caecilia Boes in Dormagen and with Anna Gertrudis Lepelmans in Bracht (this branch). The clock went with Henri Bernard Sindorff, the son of Frans' cousin Jean Joseph Wilhelm Sindorff, to Australia just after the end of the 2nd World War and placed on an auction for sale. A precious family in heritage piece.

Did Frans hit a DNA imprint?

Frans married 1. Brussels February 15, 1868 with Elisabeth Hubertina Bloemen born 1 April 1837, deceased 10 November 1880 at 15:00 at her house on Rue de Malines 20-4 Brussels, both had domicili in Venlo, daughter of Herman Francis and Marie Marquerite Biddelo, not to confuse with the similar named born daughter of Joseph Reinold and Anna Gertrudis Sindorff, born Duchy of Limburg, Venlo (NL) January 26, 1820, deceased Venlo January 25, 1905.

It appears that Frans may have had a relationship during his marriage, who became pregnant. It is conceivable that the mother to be was taken under the wings of family relatives in the Netherlands, where a child named Lourens was born. Before birth in Brussel a pregnancy was reported (Ch La; meaning?) in the records of the Town Hall, and also in the Netherlands upon birth legally, intentionally or not, by the family members who all left to the United States and assumed with the biological mother

Frans became widow and married again 2. Roermond July 26, 1881 to Josephina Maria Hubertina Thissen , born Roermond March 17, 1849, registered June 6, 1881 Roermond, coming from Molenbeek, left for Brussels on July 24, 1881, daughter of Franciscus Hubertus Thissen and Maria Elisabeth Rutten.
