At the end of the 16th century, between 1500 and 1600, the first Dutch were exploring the East Indies for trade. Products such as spices like pepper, porcelain, silk, gold, damask and gemstones were generating profit and as a result the VOC company was set up taken over by the British in the 18th century. Initially in peace with locals turned that slowly into an undesired situation for the original inhabitants.
Earlier a Jacob Sindorff was born (to date and place unknown) deceased Amsterdam, in the Republic of the Seven United Duchies, now the Netherlands (Europe) on 26-01-1702, buried Heiligewegs- en Leidsche cemetery, 5001/1252 in Amsterdam, being a son of (unknown to date) and (unknown to date). Siblings (unknown to date).
This Jacob seems to be the first Sindorff in what is called the Netherlands found so far. I looks like he lived on Vijzelsgracht in Amsterdam.
