Johannes Joseph Wilhelm Sindorff, in French Jean Joseph Guillaume Sindorff was born in Venlo, the Netherlands (Europe) on 6 January 1889, deceased in Tilburg 6 October 1936, being the fourth child of his father Karel Antoon Hubert SINDORFF (1841-1896) and his mother Anna Gertrudis Hubertina BLOEMEN (1853-1931). Siblings were his older sister Antoinetta Marie Wilhelmina Sindorff (1878-x), his brothers Franciscus Raimond Henricus Sindorff (1880-1952), Karel Henri Hubert Sindorff ((1882-1884) and younger sister Maria Anna Carolina Sindorff (1891-1969). Jean is buried on begraafplaats St. Josephstraat 109 Tilburg, Puthe Netherlands.

The family lived during the time that the 1st World War, between 1914-1918, took place, even though the Netherlands was neutral, living so close to the Belgium border the family must have experience effects, and during the 2nd World War between 1940-1945 Jean lost his son.

On 26 June 1906 the "Gelderlander" reports that Jean passed his exames a few weeks earlier on the Gymnasium and the Bisschoppelijk College in Roermond., a beta student.

There is a far away story once told by Hermanus Theorodus Sindorff (1937-2021), his grand father Franciscus Raimond Henricus Sindorff (1880-1952) was the brother of Jean, and the story was about ´de kat Angelino´, which is a rather special name. Kat means cat. Whether this had to do with the so named co-student of Jean, in the advertisement it states `P. de Kat Angelino`, or the flight history of Herman as a pilot, likely to be true, is unknown to date. It made Herman smile and is also indeed a great and beautiful name chosen by this family. He came regularly in Hoenderloo visiting his grandfather.

Jean was participant in a request to the College to investigate some issues and to end disorder, published in Vox studiosorum, a student weekly paper jrg 46, 1910 no 33.
