Karel Antoon Hubert Sindorff (Genlias: Lindorff) was born in Venlo, the Netherlands (Europe) on November 20, 1841, deceased Venlo May 29, 1896, buried Venlo cemetery c/53/-/br, being the second child, of his father Willem Antoon Hubert Sindorff (1811-1889) and his mother Maria Lucia Sax (1810-1866). Siblings were his older sister Angelina Maria Hubertina Sindorff (1840-1840) and younger brothers Frans Peter Hubert Sindorff (1843-1905), Jan Caspar Hubert Sindorff (1845-1923), Peter Godfried Hubertus Sindorff (1847-1922), Michiel Cornelis Hubertus Sindorff (1849-1919) and younger sisters Catharina Maria Hubertina Sindorff (1850-1851) and Elisabeth Hubertina Maria Sindorff (1851-1933).


Some of the family members lived during the time that the 1st World War, between 1914-1918, took place, even though the Netherlands was neutral, living so close to the Belgium border the family must have experience effects.


In Karel's final year, a meeting was held to organize the ceremonial reception of Her Majesty the Queen.

The store on Vleeschstraat nr. 35 Venlo in boring jetting and embroidery was first run by uncle Jean Sax, the brother of his mother Maria Lucia Sax. Karel was a driven man living also in Horn, trader in boringjetten; yarn from wool fibers, bought house on Vleeschstraat 68? (35) in Venlo with garden, had certificates, three obligations, .. and upon his decease left a legacy behind with 10 creditors of in total ƒ 1.617,08  and a clear balance of ƒ 11.197,74; for Anna  ƒ 5.822,82, for one child ƒ 1.343,73 and the other 4 children each ƒ 1.448,16, which for the time must have given the family means of living and investing.

Karel married in Venlo September 17, 1877 Anna Gertrudis Hubertina Bloemen, born Venlo December 18, 1853, deceased Venlo October 31, 1931 daughter of Raimond Johan Hubert Bloemen and Anna Martina Sael.
