Introducing new author W. Brugmans
Annual update
On March 13, 2024, the Sindorff.eu website was launched globally. With the help of Wix's excellent platform, the site attracted over 188 visitors from more than 20 countries worldwide, including at least 9 countries in Europe, north- and south America, Russia, Turkey, Australia & New Zeeland. These visitors included a mix of casual browsers, those actively searching, and some who were relatives or family members, all without individual tracking, of course.
Introducing W. Burgmans This year, we -the alter ego I (I quess) and I, are delighted to welcome Mr. W. Brugmans, a Belgium national, who is involved with the Dutch Bloemen family tree mainly. We -and this time not the alter ego and I, both find it truly amazing that our shared connection cannot even be named in family terms, yet the bond is established. Over 250 years a shared family history and is rather unique. Brugmans states: "Our ancestors lived in much smaller communities where everyone likely knew each other. Nowadays, it appears to be the opposite."
This describes the connection: Born in Venlo, the Netherlands 1811, ancestor Willem A.H. Sindorff's oldest sister, (.. old) aunt, Anna G. Sindorff, born in Venlo in 1796, married Josephus R. Bloemen. His father, Thomas Bloemen's, baptized in Venlo in 1754, third child was a son Jan F.H. Bloemen, born in Venlo in 1791. So, also the younger brother of Joseph and brother-in-law of Anna. In the Bloemen male line of succession up to, at least, 1864 we shall meet W. Brugmans in the female line of succession or is this science fiction?
Do you have any idea's on how to name the connection, this is too long for scrabbe?
The second link is Anna Martina Sael (Venlo 1826-1889) spouse of Raimond Johan Hubert Bloemen (Venlo 1818-1879), both parents of Brugman's great grandparents, which makes them the great great grandparents on mother side. Their 5th child, daughter Anna Gertrudis Hubertina Bloemen (1853-1931) married Karel Antoon Hubert Sindorff (1841-1896) and they are my great great grandparents. May I correctly assume that Anna M. Seal and R.J.H. Bloemen are my old parent's in law?
The Bloemen family has another unique aspect, which is the Bloemen crest or coat of arms (link to Bloemen).
